Bryanne + Jared’s northern California wedding!

This wedding gave me a chance to really get a feel for NorCal. I flew into San Jose with Chris, who came with me for the trip, and then we spent the day in Palo Alto. We explored the city, and I fell in love with the northern California vibe. Then, we drove to Turlock for Bryanne and Jared’s big day. Turlock is about two hours east of Palo Alto. The drive out there felt a lot like driving out to Ellensburg with all the farmlands. 

The venue for this beautiful northern California wedding was a lavender farm. It was such a cute, whimsical location, perfect for the understated elegance of Bryanne and Jared’s event. The historic-looking buildings were so pretty and had ivy and other greenery growing on them. All the climbing plants gave the farm such an enchanting, garden-y vibe.

I had a lovely time working with this sweet couple. Bryanne is a teacher, Jared is a farmer, and they are both so kind and family oriented. Their northern California wedding was such a perfect celebration of their love. It was a fantastic mix of vintage, rustic and modern elements. The styling was uncluttered, with thoughtful, elevated details throughout. For example, one of my favorite design choices was the potted-plant seating chart display. It was such a cool, unique detail. 

After shooting getting ready and details photos, we did a first look with Bryanne and her dad. Then, we got pictures of Jared and Bryanne’s first look and prayer. Later, we took advantage of some of the beautiful lavender fields on the farm for the bridal session. And then we finished off the night with a fun, romantic sparkler exit. 

I really enjoyed working on this northern California wedding for Bryanne and Jared. It was a lovely day and an incredible opportunity to explore a new part of California. Chris and I even took advantage of how close we were to Yosemite National Park. After the wedding, we drove out to Yosemite for a few days since I had never been. All in all, this trip was one for the books!
