An organic, modern, uniquely styled Kirkland Washington elopement photography shoot!
Lea, the owner of Enora Creative Co., planned this incredible content day at Fleur Studio in Kirkland, WA. I loved capturing her beautiful work. Now, I can’t wait to share this gallery with you. From the organic textures to the neutral florals and bright pops of red, this elopement shoot was carefully crafted to inspire. And, with all these amazing vendors, I had so much fun!
Whenever I work on content days or styled shoots, I aim to capture images that move, attract, and inspire the kinds of couples I love working with. Brides, do you adore all things organic, emotive, elegant, and timeless? Couples, are you moved by authentic connection, intimate moments, and imperfect beauty? Then, this one’s for you!
Some of my favorite types of images to capture are ones full of organic textures and modern details. Of course, I wanted this Kirkland Washington elopement photography session to reflect that style. But I’ve learned that the best photoshoots happen when you give vendors the freedom to stretch themselves creatively. So, I shared my overall vision with Lea but let her completely lead when it came to design. And, in the end, she created something incredible.
Lea kept the overall palette very organic and elegantly neutral while incorporating small pops of vibrant red. She brought that red in through the bride’s nails, the cherries in the tablescape and drinks, the paper goods, the matchboxes, and the playing cards. These details, along with the fluted glassware and tall candle sticks, perfectly complemented the elevated vintage-modern feel of this shoot. Lea even included black and white polaroids in her design for yet another vintage touch.
Ultimately, this Kirkland content day became so much more than just another photoshoot. Live musicians and Blooming Espresso’s cute retro coffee cart made this session one to remember. It was so fun to capture the cellist and violinist with their beautiful instruments. Plus, the coffee was so good! Overall, every vendor was so kind and incredible to work with. And, to make it even more special, this shoot was featured in Vanity Fair’s March 2024 issue.
