Olive Seattle Studio Bridal Shoot

December 29, 2023

An organically elegant Olive Seattle Studio bridal shoot for Vogue and Tatler!

I had to pull this shoot together a bit last minute when I found out I was going to be featured in both British Vogue and Tatler Magazine! It’s always so exciting to have my work published. But when a magazine reaches out to you, your first deadline to submit photos usually comes very shortly after that. So, I didn’t waste any time and got right to work planning this styled bridal shoot.

My timeline for planning this photoshoot was tight, but the stars all aligned when I started contacting vendors. I love working with Lea, the owner of Enora Creative Co, so I asked her to contribute some of her beautiful stationery. I also knew I wanted a Danielle Frankel bridal gown for the session, and The Dress Theory in Seattle had the perfect one available. Then, to make this Seattle studio bridal shoot even more special, I finally got to work with Rachel, the bride for this session. I’ve wanted to collaborate with her for such a long time, and the timing worked out perfectly.

I had an organic, luxurious, timeless vision for this bridal shoot. So, Olive Seattle Studio seemed like the ideal location, with its soft light and Tulum-inspired arches. After I shared my ideas with the florist, Rachel Rouse, I let her run with it. Ultimately, she delivered wildly elegant arrangements that were everything I’d hoped for. That is what I love about giving vendors creative freedom! It allows them to stretch themselves, show the depth of their talent, and exceed all expectations.

On shoot day, I styled the flay lay with Lea’s creative guidance. Overall, I loved all the organic, natural textures we layered throughout this Seattle studio bridal shoot. I shot film and digital images, capturing all the elevated details. It was all such a crazy whirlwind, but I am so happy with how the day and these final edits turned out!

If you want more bridal inspiration, check out my wedding and elopement photography journal to see what else I’ve been working on lately. I love capturing all types of love stories, no matter where they might take me. So, please get in touch to inquire about your big day if you think we’d make a perfect match.
