Hannah + Daniel’s North Bend engagement session!

This evening. This lighting. I am so in love. Hannah and Daniel live in Eastern WA so we decided to do our shoot in North Bend. Kind of in the middle of where we each live! Hannah and Daniel are actually from Alaska, which is probably one of my favorite states.

After doing some location scouting I found this golden field. Perfect for their engagement session! I absolutely loved how the light hit Mount Si in the background. There are many different fields in North Bend so anytime I have a session booked here I check them all out and pick my favorite! They all change with the seasons so I want to be sure we do our session at the best one!

Funny story, Hannah and Daniel didn’t know that blackberries grow like weeds here in Washington. North Bend has SO many blackberry bushes. They may be a pest but I love them. Walking into the field there were tons of bushes so we picked some berries. It’s so funny things we grow up knowing and not realizing that it is common knowledge to others. 

Hannah and Daniel had two outfits set aside. One casual and one a little fancier. I always recommend that clients have a variety! I also always recommend neutrals and limited patterns. Hannah picked out the most perfect outfits for their North Bend engagement session. Some shops I recommend getting outfits at are Nordstrom, Zara, H&M and even Abercrombie.

We waited a little until the sky turned pink and turned the whole field even more golden than it already was. The colors of their outfits paired so well with the sunset. To get those pink colors I always recommend shooting right after sunset. That’s when things get nice and glowy!
