Chloé + Brandon’s Golden Gardens Seattle engagement session!

I had a great time working with this sweet, fun couple. Brandon and Chloé had recently gotten engaged down in Newport Beach. They wanted to get their engagement photos done before November because Brandon would be leaving to join the Air Force then. So, we scheduled this Golden Gardens Seattle engagement session for before he left for training. 

These two make just a great match! They have a lot in common. For instance, they both love Mexican food, Disneyland, game nights, and romcoms. They share a birthday, and they both love visiting new places. So, instead of exchanging birthday presents, Chloé and Brandon choose somewhere to travel together. They also share a love for coffee shops, and Chloé is working towards opening up a shop of her own. I can’t wait to visit once it opens!

This Golden Gardens Seattle engagement session was the perfect send-off for Brandon, and these photos give Chloé some great memories to hold on to while he is away. This Ballard park’s rugged coastline and tall wetland grasses worked great with the smokey overcast weather. Altogether, this gave the final edits a really organic, dreamy vibe. 

Brandon and Chloé each chose two outfits for the session. First, they started the shoot with comfortably casual looks, and the brighter colors contrasted against neutral, natural surroundings. Then, they both chose neutral colors and natural fabrics for their second looks, coordinating perfectly with the session location. 

Brandon and Chloé are so adorably in love! As we ran around the beach and fields, catching laughter, smiles, and sweet moments, I could tell they’re besties. We got lots of action shots, some simple poses, and a few great blurry photos. And, of course, I had to give them some filmy black-and-white edits. 

All in all, this Golden Gardens Seattle engagement session was a perfect way to celebrate Brandon and Chloé’s love. These heirloom-quality final edits authentically capture this beautiful moment in their relationship. I hope these photos help them forever look back on this time with nostalgia!
