Cannon Beach Oregon Coast Elopement

Kasse + Dylan’s Cannon Beach Oregon coast elopement!

This coastal, vintage-inspired shoot all started with the dress. I had been eyeing the Armeria gown by designer Alena Leena for so long. It’s such a gorgeous gown with a flowy tulle skirt and a beautifully cut and detailed bodice. So, I finally decided to hunt it down and discovered that A&Be Bridal in Seattle carries it!

From there, the dress very much inspired the rest of this styled Cannon Beach Oregon coast elopement shoot. I knew the tulle skirt would be stunning in the wind, so I decided to shoot at Cannon Beach. The coastal colors and ocean breezes here made it the perfect setting for a romantic, timeless elopement session. I’ve done several other shoots here, like Valerie and Joon’s golden hour engagement session in September. So, I knew I wanted to shoot in the beachgrass fields in front of the water.

Chris and I drove down to Oregon and picked up the floral arrangements along the way. Then, we met up with table stylist Tiara at the beach. The ocean background inspired me, so I asked Tiara to include antique blue pieces in the table details to tie in with the coastal colors. She did a fantastic job putting together an elegant, understated, and romantic table styling.

While Tiara and her husband set up the table, I put together the flat lay. The beachgrass and sand made an excellent background for the paper goods and antique details. This was my first time working with Enora Creative, a West coast based stationer, and her work was perfect for this shoot. I first met Lea a while back at one of my shoots, but she didn’t launch her paper goods business until more recently. So, working with her and supporting her as a fellow small business owner was a lot of fun!

It was a cold and windy day for this Cannon Beach Oregon coast elopement shoot, but it was so worth it! I took lots of photos of the flay lay, table set up, and the bride and groom in both digital and film. These final images are exactly what I had in mind when I first saw this gown. And I am even more in love with how the film came out. Contact me today to learn more about my couple photography packages and how to add film to your shoot!

Chris and I made the most of being in Cannon Beach and stayed in town at a little boutique hotel. His family even decided to drive down and join us. After the shoot, we grabbed dinner with Chris’ family. Then, we all got some rest before exploring the little town the next day. Overall, this styled shoot was a lot of fun to work on. I can’t wait until my next shoot at Cannon Beach!
