Marissa + Kendal’s intimate wedding at Gold Creek Pond in Washington state!

What an absolute dream day! Marissa and Kendal’s intimate wedding was so peaceful. It was a perfectly sunny summer evening with the most beautiful twilight a girl could ask for. The pink sky hit the mountains and reflected on the still pond, it was so stunning.

Marissa and Kendal wanted a very intimate wedding at Gold Creek Pond with their closest friends and family. They later had a reception to party and celebrate their marriage, how fun is that?? Photographing days like these makes me want to have an intimate wedding, or even elope. It was so carefree and not stressful at all. Planning is also much easier than doing a whole wedding!

Marissa and Kendal’s timeline was so simple. We started with the ceremony and a traditional aisle first look. Kendal turned around right during a musical queue. They wanted me to focus more on his face than on Marissa, which I thought was so sweet. They specifically wanted a photo over Marissa’s shoulder looking at Kendal’s reaction. If this doesn’t make you want to cry then I don’t know what will! They also did prayer with all of the guests, which was one of my favorite parts of the ceremony.

After the ceremony they had little charcuterie boxes and drinks for the guests. We also did family photos, bridal party photos, and bride and groom photos. The light was so dreamy, I cannot express my love for it enough! Marissa and Kendal are two very sweet and kindhearted people. You can feel their love just being around them. They are also so goofy and make taking photos so easy and fun!
