Park Winters Wedding Photography | All Black Dress Code

June 1, 2025

Sleek, emotional, and elevated. Paige and Chris’s all-black wedding at Park Winters in Northern California was the kind of celebration that leaves a lasting impression. Not only did this day have a beautiful visual aesthetic, but it also put genuine love on display. That love radiates through every frame of this Park Winters wedding photography gallery.

I first met these two during their Big Sur engagement session, and I instantly clicked with them. That foundation of connection made their wedding day feel effortless to document. It was clear from the beginning: this day was going to be special.

Timeless Style Meets Emotional Atmosphere

From the moment I arrived at Park Winters, I could feel the calm, homey energy of the venue. Set amidst lush green landscapes and surrounded by wide open farmland, this private estate balances luxury with warmth. The couple got ready inside the restored historical inn. Paige wore a satin Jenny Yoo gown with buttons trailing down her back. Meanwhile, Chris sported a classic tux that felt tailored to the setting. One of my favorite emotional moments? The bride’s first look with her dad as she came down the staircase.

Later, Paige and Chris had a private first look on the porch where they exchanged heartfelt vows. That pocket of quiet intimacy before the ceremony was so them. It also gave us a chance to explore the garden space for couple portraits. We captured golden hour light that made the film shots glow.

Park Winters Wedding Photography with an Editorial Twist

This day was a perfect example of how impactful intentional choices, especially an all-black dress code, can be. So many couples hesitate to ask their guests to stick to a theme, but these two fully committed and the result was absolutely stunning. The consistent black tones elevated every photo, especially with the romantic Park Winters wedding backdrop. The ceremony itself took place in the outdoor ceremony space surrounded by European-style gardens and soft florals designed by Joyful Weddings.

Instead of a traditional floral arch, Paige and Chris opted for lower floral arrangements that let the natural beauty of the property shine. Their love story unfolded with emotional glances, joyful reactions, and an unforgettable first kiss. Guests celebrated the newlyweds with a flower petal toss as they walked back up the aisle, all in all, one of my favorite candid moments of the day.

Reception Highlights and Sunset Portraits at Park Winters

As the sun dipped lower, guests sipped cocktails while we snuck away for a few golden hour portraits. These sunset photos, captured on both digital and film, are some of my favorite Park Winters wedding photos to date. The couple returned to make their grand entrance from the balcony above the reception space, raising glasses over the long tables where guests gathered for dinner, toasts, and heartfelt speeches.

The night wrapped with cake under a chandelier, joyful dancing, and film snapshots that radiate celebration. Every detail, from the outdoor wedding setting to the emotional atmosphere, reflected the couple’s personality and trust in the creative process.
