An effortlessly ethereal weeping willow Washington elopement photoshoot!

I’ve been thinking about the vision behind this styled shoot in Quincy, WA, for quite a while now. I wanted to craft an organic, ethereal session that showcased a stunning but simply planned elopement. Think elevated pixie hollow aesthetic but make it romantic and timeless. I envisioned a natural location with a weeping willow tree, water, and dreamy light. 

So, when someone posted a photo on Instagram of the weeping willow tree of my dreams, I immediately asked where she’d found it. She pointed me to Cave B Estate Winery here in Washington, and I knew it was time to bring my vision to life. In the end, with a bit of work and the help of an incredible group of vendors, this ethereal, styled elopement shoot came together even more beautifully than I imagined.

Bringing this Weeping Willow Washington Elopement Session to Life

Since I know some truly talented wedding planners, I usually leave the planning of my styled shoots to the professionals. But for this session, I knew I wanted to curate a scene centered around a couple simply celebrating their love story in a breathtaking location. After finding the location, all that was left was finding a couple, dress, and floral designer, which I could do.

This weeping willow Washington elopement shoot began to fall together perfectly when I contacted Briar & Ivy about the florals. Based in Oregon, Briar & Ivy are the best in the business. I was thrilled when the co-owner, Amy, agreed to drive up to Quincy for the session!

After that, I found this stunning bridal gown at The Dress Theory in Seattle. With the elegant neckline, flowing skirt, and lace bodice, it was everything I was looking for. When you look through this gallery, you’ll see how incredible the bridal model, Alina, looked in it. 

Finally, the session day arrived, and everything came together beautifully. From the couple to the location to the gorgeous, natural florals, this weeping willow Washington elopement perfectly captured my ethereal vision. This experience entirely centered around the couple, just as every great elopement should. All in all, I love how such a simply planned elopement allowed me to capture such elevated, timeless images.
