Some wedding days feel like a deep exhale. This Fox Hollow Farm wedding was exactly that. It was quiet, joyful, and tucked into greenery in a way that made everything slow down. And because Alexis and Nikolis trusted me fully, I could lean into the moments as they unfolded.
I’ve photographed a lot of beautiful places. Still, Fox Hollow Farm continues to be one of my favorite locations in Washington. It’s close enough to the city for an easy commute. Yet it feels like you’ve slipped away into your own world.
This venue sits among wooded hills, and it feels like a private country estate. It also photographs like a dream from start to finish. Between the manicured gardens and the tucked-away paths, there’s always something pretty nearby.
It’s also a full-service event venue, which makes planning feel more streamlined. Plus, the property has that refined outdoor vibe that fits the Pacific Northwest so well. You get lush greens, soft shade, and that calm, tucked-away feeling.
Alexis started the morning in the bridal dressing room, and her entire bridal look felt timeless. Her gown was understated and stunning. And her veil brought the drama in the best way.
Meanwhile, Nikolis looked so sharp in a warm-toned tux. Together, they felt like modern romance in a natural setting. And because the venue includes a true dressing room setup, the morning stayed relaxed.
If you’re searching for a wedding venue with space to breathe, this is it.
Their first look was sweet and emotional. Even better, they had privacy to take it in. And because we had so many gorgeous backdrops, we could wander slowly.
We took wedding portraits near the garden paths. Then we paused by the manor house for a few frames that felt classic and cinematic. The property’s natural beauty shows up everywhere. So, you never have to force a location.
Also, the hydrangeas were showing off. Their blooms added so much softness to the whole story.
The ceremony took place beneath the trees. That outdoor ceremony option is one of my favorite parts of the property. It gives you shade during summer light. And it keeps the focus on the couple.
This wedding ceremony felt like a garden party with heart. It had an effortless kind of warmth. And when they shared their vows, the whole space got quiet in the best way.
The backyard area is such a beautiful ceremony space. It’s intimate without feeling small.
Afterward, everyone moved into cocktail hour. Then the celebration flowed into the wedding reception on the lawn. The long dinner tables looked incredible with the house behind them.
Their seated reception felt elegant and welcoming. And the guest attire brought color and joy to every frame. It matched the venue’s rustic English garden mood perfectly.
This is also where the design details really shined. The table décor felt intentional, layered, and fresh. And the floral arrangements were full and romantic without feeling heavy.
This day balanced rustic charm with vintage elegance in a way that felt very “them.” The checkered dance floor on the lawn was a standout. So was the classic car, which added instant romance.
I also loved the overall tone: elevated earthy and still playful. It’s the kind of style that never feels dated. And it photographs beautifully in every light.
Also, this wedding is proof that you can ask guests to follow a dress code. It truly elevates the final gallery. And it makes the photos feel more cohesive.
One of the coolest parts of this venue is that it’s a working farm. So, the idea of farm-style elegance fits naturally here. And because Herban Feast provides farm-to-table catering, the experience feels rooted in place.
Food and atmosphere are tied together. So, when the meal feels intentional, the whole day feels more complete.
If you want a wedding venue that feels like a retreat, this one delivers.
As the light softened, we stepped away for sunset portraits. The lawn glowed. The trees filtered the light. And the day finally exhaled into that dreamy evening pace.
These two were also so easy together. Their connection showed up in every frame. And because they stayed present, their couple portraits felt natural and unforced.
This is one reason I love photographing here. The light works with you.
What I love most about this Fox Hollow Farm wedding is how comfortable it felt. It never felt like a performance. Instead, it felt like a day built around people, joy, and ease.
And honestly, it’s always better when I get to work with friends. This day included Landmark Event Co support behind the scenes, Shae Socials, who is a good friend in the wedding industry and in real life, plus a vendor team that made everything smooth. That kind of alignment matters, especially in the wedding industry.
