Alexis + Eneas’s Portland Oregon wedding!

These two first met at Eneas’s brother-in-law’s CrossFit gym during COVID, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. Both Alexis and Eneas love working out together. They also enjoy spending time together with family and talking about their goals. Eneas is a firefighter and works a lot, so they planned this wedding around fire season. They ultimately chose a date that landed just a couple of days before their second dating anniversary.

Portland is only a two-and-a-half-hour drive from where I live. So, I decided not to stay overnight in Oregon and, instead, drive back after the wedding. So, I was really glad that Chris came with me to help with the driving. After working a ten-hour day, I definitely needed his support to make it home!

We started the day of this Portland Oregon wedding at Alexis’s family home. First, I shot some getting-ready photos of the bride, and then we did a first look with her dad. After that, Eneas got his first look at the bride, and his reaction was so sweet and emotional! These two have the kindest families, and watching how they all love one another was precious.

Everything about Alexis and Eneas’s special day was perfectly sentimental and meaningful. They had the ceremony at Alexis’s childhood church. Then, they also incorporated her family culture by doing a traditional Korean tea ceremony after everything. It was really special. For the dinner, they had Asian food from a small restaurant that doesn’t typically do catering, and it was so good! The coffee and gelato cart was also amazing!

Instead of taking all the photos at the church, we went to a nearby park for Alexis and Eneas’s couple session and bridal party photos. The white blossoms on the bushes made the perfect backdrop for their bridal shots. This bridal party had fantastic energy. You can see in the gallery how much fun they were to work with. Overall, everyone was so kind, making the whole day easy and enjoyable.

I love capturing authentic moments of love, joy, and connection for my couples. And that’s exactly what I got to do at this Portland Oregon wedding. Are you planning a wedding or elopement?
